Ab Exercises

What is the sexiest part of a person’s body that gets the most attention? Ask any person and they will most likely say that it is a person’s abs, no doubt about it.

The abs or abdominal muscles are often considered the focal point of a person’s physique. Fit celebrities and actors are seen as some of the most attractive people in the world. What is the reason for this? Time and time again the answer given is because that person has sexy abs or a well-toned body.

At this moment, you are probably asking the question "How do I get my own set of ripped six pack abs?” What is the secret weapon that celebrities have in their arsenal? Well, it helps that they may have a personal trainer, but don't worry if you can't afford one. You can start an ab exercise program on your own by following a few simple rules.

The great news is that there really are no secrets as anyone can get ripped six pack abs by following a simple abs exercise program. The bad news is that ripped six pack abs don't just happen overnight. You can expect a few months of hard work before you see any solid results.

Don't get discouraged before you have begun to see any results. If you're serious and you keep working hard at your exercise program, the results will be well worth the wait, and soon everyone will be taking notice of your abs, too.

There are really only two rules that you need to follow get a ripped six pack:1. Commit to a healthy and sound diet.2. Commit to a consistent and regular exercise program.

Following a healthy diet that’s low in fat is the first and most important step in the process. Changing your diet should be done prior to beginning your ab exercise program. A diet can be fun and doesn't necessarily have to be hard.

To achieve the abs that you so desire, you should start by reducing your fat intake immediately. You need to eliminate the "bad fats" first, such as the saturated fat commonly found in fast foods like potato chips, and similar junk foods. Also, cut back on all unnecessary carbohydrates, as carbs are most commonly found in foods such as rice, pasta, and bread.

Please don't eliminate all of the carbs from your diet, but try to consume less during each meal, and avoid eating any carbs after 6 PM. The reason for this is because carbs can be easily converted to fat while your body is at rest and you are sleeping.

This diet combined with a regular exercise program, will help make your abs ripped and tight. However, even if you exercise all day long, if you don't follow a proper diet, you are unlikely to achieve your ripped six pack abs.

The next step is to select some ab exercises that you can do regularly. For the most part people should perform an ab strengthening routine at least two to three times a week. An average routine will usually take around fifteen to twenty minutes, so even if you're a very busy person, you should have no problem fitting this into your schedule.

So begin a diet, pick a program, and get started on your six pack abs.
